Xiomara Balentina

Xiomara Balentina is a St. Eustatius-born psychologist and community activist. She earned her professional degree in the Netherlands before returning to the islands in 2012 to serve her community in various capacities. Over the years, she has been involved in many community-related projects. In 2021, she was a member of the Sint Eustatius Heritage Research Commission (SHRC). Balentina currently chairs the newly formed St. Eustatius Cultural Heritage Implementation Committee, which aims to engage and consult with the community on the implementation of the SHRC's final report.
