As research assistant and picture editor, Myrthe Kraaijenoord is assisting the editing of the book. She also conducts additional research where necessary. She wrote a master thesis in Colonial and Global History at Leiden University about the development of different communities and king groups within the black population of Curaçao in the Early Modern period.
